Cathy is an accounting professional with 30 years of experience working with businesses in various industries and a nonprofit organization. She is proficient in performing account maintenance and reconciliations and assisting with month-end closings and financial statement preparation. Cathy also has proven experience managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory.

Maximizing her strong research skills, Cathy has also owned and operated a court record research business where she performed extensive research at the state and county levels and gained experience with title searching and corporate credit liens.

In addition to creating and executing policies and procedures for compliance purposes, she capably researches and implements software tools to streamline and automate accounting and scheduling functions to increase business efficiencies. Cathy is highly adept at using QuickBooks Pro and QuickBooks Online and performing payroll processing and reporting using the Paychex, ADP, Paycom, and Valiant platforms.

Cathy utilizes her in-depth knowledge and skills to perform budgeting and forecasting as she helps clients overcome challenges throughout various business cycles. She also has experience assisting clients with bank loan applications and related recordkeeping requirements. On a Lighter Note

What is one of your proudest accomplishments?
Raising and homeschooling my three boys, two of whom have moved on to college and one who is beginning medical school, while also most often working full-time.

Is there a cause you care about and support?
Yes, I have a heart for underprivileged youth. Over the years, I have volunteered with A Kid Again, Autism Speaks, and various youth groups.

What is one of the best pieces of advice you have received?
Never ask someone to do something that you yourself would not do and always work as if the business you work for is your own, never compromising your work ethic.
