On a Lighter Note

Do you speak any languages besides English?
Yes, I’m currently learning to speak French. Back in 2016, a Parisian accountant reached out to me on LinkedIn. Since then, we have become professional “pen pals,” and learning French makes our communications more gratifying.

What is something interesting we would not learn about you from your resume alone?
My first entrepreneurial venture was at age 13, when I became a Transformers broker. I would arrange deals with my friends and classmates so they could buy, sell, rent, or borrow Transformer action figures from one another. It wasn’t until years later that I realized what I had done was a form of entrepreneurship.

Are there any causes that you like to support?
I previously volunteered with VOICEcorps, a radio reading service for blind and print-handicapped citizens. I enjoyed reading the printed news and other information to help others, and I plan to volunteer my time again.
