Kaiser Consulting is delighted to announce the company has once again been recognized as one of Central Ohio's Best Places to Work by Columbus Business First. We are honored to be named the number two outstanding workplace in the medium-sized category this year. 2020 marks the fifth time in six years the company has earned this notable award.

"Our team is thrilled that Kaiser Consulting is now a five-time recipient of the Best Places to Work in Central Ohio award. Receiving this recognition in 2020 is especially heartwarming because it is confirmation that our employees find our culture of excellence to be strong, supportive, and satisfying during both certain and uncertain times," said Lori Kaiser, founder and CEO of Kaiser Consulting.

"While responding and adapting to each employee’s ever-changing personal and professional needs, our company culture thrives due to our employees’ collective and consistent dedication to our firm’s core values," Kaiser said. "Everyone’s energy is focused on rowing in the same direction to ensure each of us has the opportunity to achieve our personal best, experience professional growth, and live the ideal blend between our work and home lives based on our self-defined goals."

The Best Places to Work program highlights companies in Central Ohio who are doing their best to foster a great workplace and whose operations are changing the business landscape. This year, over 235 companies participated in the competition, and the top 45 were honored.

"Kaiser Consulting’s flexible, innovative, and caring culture is built by our employees for our employees. We all contribute to making our culture the best through our respectful and considerate relationships, open and honest communications, and thoughtful sharing of ideas and resources with one another," said Kaiser.

"The combination of these core values our firm was founded on 28+ years ago plus our team of 80+ professionals that loves working together results in our resilient culture that successfully changes with the times."

Columbus Business First revealed the medium-sized company award rankings during a virtual event held on November 10th. The festive celebration was safely attended by Kaiser Consulting employees and other Central Ohio Best Places to Work honorees. It's the first time in the award's 16-year history the celebration was held virtually.

To determine which of Central Ohio’s exceptional workplaces to recognize, Columbus Business First partnered with Quantum Workplace to compile anonymous employee satisfaction surveys in the following six key areas:

  • Communication and Resources
  • Individual Needs
  • Manager Effectiveness
  • Personal Engagement
  • Team Dynamics
  • Trust in Leadership

The Best Places to Work rankings are based exclusively on the survey results.

"We are honored to have a passionate team that collaborates day in, day out to preserve our firm’s culture as a place where there is no doubt that our people come first," said Angela McDermott, Kaiser Consulting’s Director of Operations.

"From the smallest details to the largest decisions and everything in between, we have built and continue to cultivate our people-centric workplace where the individual is at the heart of everything we do as a firm. We value each employee for their unique qualities, contributions, and aspirations."

In addition to this year’s award, Kaiser Consulting has been the proud recipient of the Best Places to Work award on four other occasions. In 2015 and 2016, the company was named a winner in the small-sized category of 25 to 49 employees. In 2018 and 2019, Kaiser Consulting received the top honor as the number one company in the medium-sized category of 50 to 99 employees.

"We are grateful to offer a work environment that lets our people experience personal and professional fulfillment, encouragement from teammates who genuinely care, and an overall sense of belonging to a firm where they know they are making a difference," said McDermott.

A complete list of this year’s winners, grouped by each of the five company size categories (micro, small, medium, large and extra large), will be featured in a special Best Places to Work supplement in the November 13th issue of Columbus Business First. Congratulations to all of the 2020 honorees!
