Small Business Relief Grant

Beginning today, November 2, 2020, Ohio small businesses can apply for a brand new Small Business Relief Grant designed to assist Ohio businesses negatively impacted by the effects of COVID-19. Governor DeWine has designated, and the State Controlling Board has approved, $125 million of federal CARES Act funding to provide relief to eligible small businesses. Grants of $10,000 will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis to businesses that meet the criteria and submit a complete application.

We encourage interested businesses to review the eligibility requirements and submit an application as soon as possible. Time is of the essence. You can find the Small Business Relief Grant Fact Sheet here and detailed grant and application information here.

Our team is available to assist you with the Small Business Relief Grant by helping to:

  • Determine your grant eligibility
  • Complete the grant application
  • Establish procedures for subsequent grant recordkeeping requirements

Relief for Other Entities

Ohio's CARES Act funding package also provides financial support to organizations in many other sectors, including $25 million designated for nonprofits and $20 million to support Ohio’s world-class arts organizations.

Assistance is also available to help restaurants and bars, hospitals, higher education institutions, and Ohio families, all of whom have been financially impacted by COVID-19. Additional details regarding the pandemic relief can be found here.
