About Amy

Amy is a highly motivated accounting, audit, and tax professional with 30+ years of public accounting experience acquired through servicing clients at several long-established, well-respected local and regional full-service CPA firms. She is a Certified Public Accountant and has extensive experience working closely with small businesses, including many family-owned entities, and nonprofit organizations.

Drawing upon her years of experience, Amy has a strong ability to plan, execute, and complete her engagements independently, as well as a member of a team. She is an effective communicator who is comfortable working with all levels of client personnel from staff to executive leadership to gather, process, and present the financial information necessary to achieve her project’s goals in a timely and accurate manner.

Amy is proficient in all aspects of day-to-day accounting operations, including account reconciliations, write-up work, and financial statement preparation. With a deep understanding of both tax and accounting issues, she is a seasoned business entity tax preparer who also capably performs compilations, reviews, and audits. Amy’s technology skills include comprehensive knowledge of QuickBooks accounting software and UltraTax tax software.

In addition to performing internal control assessments and providing recommendations to her clients, Amy also provides sound process improvement comments and suggestions to management. A self-starter with excellent follow-through, Amy consistently receives positive feedback from her clients regarding her ability to simultaneously dive into a project’s details, while providing overall guidance and perspective on important business matters.
