On a Lighter Note
Do you volunteer anywhere?
I volunteer as a treasurer for the Hilliard Girls Softball Association and Hilliard Davidson High School Drama Boosters, and as a Vice President of PTO at Beacon Elementary in Hilliard, Ohio.
Where is an interesting place you have visited or an incredible view you have seen?
My husband was stationed in Oahu, Hawaii before we married. He deployed soon after our wedding but when he returned we visited Oahu for a belated honeymoon. It is the most beautiful, majestic place I’ve ever seen. It is also rich with history and I’m a bit of a history nerd so that was an amazing bonus.
Do you have any pets?
You really opened up a rabbit hole here! My two youngest children are heavily involved in 4H. When we joined the 4H program we began volunteering at a horse rescue in Grove City, Ohio, and from there the flood gates opened. We now have a black and white American Paint Horse we rescued. We have two Pomeranian dogs, a Netherland Dwarf rabbit, two guinea pigs, a hedgehog, a Rhode Island Red chicken, a Silkie chicken, a Splash Silkie chicken, and two baby Indian Runner ducks.
