Christina Mollica, CPA

About Christina

Christina is a highly skilled CPA with 10+ years of Big Four public accounting and private industry experience, including holding senior-level positions. A summa cum laude graduate with Honors, she effectively utilizes her technical, organizational and communication skills while working closely with key internal and external stakeholders on the timely and efficient completion of financial reporting, accounting, and auditing projects to help their organizations achieve their goals.

Beginning her career in the corporate finance department of a Fortune 1000 global industrial manufacturer, Christina provided financial reporting support to senior management, executives, and the board of directors. She next joined the global professional services firm PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), where she advanced from an assurance associate performing audit work to comply with the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board, SEC, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations to senior manager of trust solutions, where she directed audit teams in planning and performing large-scale financial statement audits for publicly traded companies.

Subsequently, as director of accounting for a private investment firm, Christina managed the month-end close and managerial reporting for multiple entities. Here, she regularly prepared ad-hoc analyses for executive leadership and performed payroll audits, including year-end compensation and bonus analyses.

Christina brings strong leadership and a solid work ethic to her projects. She is adept at managing multiple accounting professionals simultaneously and well-versed in corporate accounting matters, GAAP and SEC reporting and disclosures, all aspects of the audit process, and SOX compliance. Additionally, Christina can develop, execute and review complex testing procedures for high-risk areas of integrated audits, research and report on new accounting pronouncements, and assist with facilitating debt offerings by performing comfort letter procedures and coordinating with interested parties. She has experience with financial, analytics and other business software, including Workday, Alteryx and Salesforce.

Clients value Christina for her diverse experience and project management, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills, as she contributes her talents to implementing solutions that support their enterprise.

On a Lighter Note

Have you visited a memorable restaurant?
I am passionate about food and love to find amazing restaurants in every city I visit. I have eaten at restaurants that American celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain visited, at Michelin-starred restaurants, and at “holes-in-the-wall” with incredible bites.

Do you speak any language besides English?
Yes, I can speak conversational Greek, and while I am not fluent (yet), I can navigate my way around Greece in its native tongue when needed.

What is something interesting we would not learn about you from your resume alone?
I run a food-based Instagram account with a significant local following.
