Dave is an accomplished business executive with 30+ years of experience leading accounting and finance functions across privately held and publicly traded companies in diverse industries. As a CPA (Inactive) with Fortune 500 and private equity experience, he is highly skilled in strategic planning, financial reporting and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, risk management, due diligence, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.

Beginning his accounting career with a prominent electronic commerce software and network services provider, Dave advanced to increasingly senior-level roles, including accounting manager, director of treasury, and vice president, controller and treasurer. During his tenure, he performed business and financial planning to accommodate organic and acquisition growth, managed worldwide treasury operations, including a $500+ million investment portfolio, participated in the spin-off and initial public offering of the company into a publicly traded entity with assets exceeding $1 billion, and played a leading role in the ultimate multibillion-dollar sale of the company. Dave’s responsibilities also included overseeing internal and external financial reporting, including Forms 10-Q and 10-K, proxy statements and other SEC filings, earnings announcements and stock option administration.

Subsequently, Dave held positions with two private equity-owned companies, serving as vice president of finance, controller, and legal treasurer/secretary for one entity and CFO for the other. He has performed engagements as an independent financial consultant for a Fortune 500 company and other entities and provided fractional and interim controller and CFO services.

Comfortable collaborating with leadership teams, Dave is adept at corporate governance, regulatory compliance, business combinations and integrations, cash and debt management, contract and credit agreement administration and external audit management.
