About Emily

A well-rounded accounting, audit, and finance professional, Emily is an exceptional team leader and accomplished performer who is proactive and proven to succeed in dynamic and deadline-oriented environments. She has a broad working knowledge of financial reporting and analysis, a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate relevant financial information to executive leadership, and the expertise to manage internal and external relationships to successfully achieve project goals.

Emily began her 20+ year accounting career as an auditor with Big Four firm EY. She subsequently held positions as an accounting manager, controller, and director of financial planning and analysis with both public and private corporations, ranging in size from small to large. Emily's experience includes all aspects of the periodic close process and preparation of related financial deliverables, as well as accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, commissions, payroll, sales tax, 401(k) plans, budgeting, cash management, rolling forecasts, and subsidiary accounting.

Emily is adept at identifying areas for process improvement, developing policies and procedures, and implementing standardized financial workflows to increase efficiencies. She has advanced Excel skills and is proficient in Oracle, Hyperion, PeopleSoft, Plex, and QuickBooks. Emily can operate in a shared service environment, serve as an impactful liaison between various stakeholders, and lead, train, and motivate accounting teams to peak performance.
