An accomplished business leader, Hilary is a highly qualified CPA with excellent analytical skills and expertise in audit, outsourced and interim accounting, Sarbanes-Oxley and internal controls compliance, process improvements, and complex business consulting projects. She is a skillful relationship builder with a proven ability to collaborate with all levels of personnel, both inside and outside an organization, to reach mutually agreeable outcomes with clients, employees, sales teams, service providers and other stakeholders.
Hilary's experience spans over 25 years, including six years at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, where she performed audits of clients in the manufacturing, real estate, and not-for-profit sectors. As controller for a developer and marketer of electronic devices, Hilary prepared financial statements and established and maintained the company's internal controls. At Kaiser Consulting, her in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience allow her to effectively support our team members and clients.
Joining Kaiser Consulting in 2008 as an accounting consultant, Hilary was subsequently promoted to director of client service. In 2018, she became a shareholder in our firm, and three years later, Hilary was promoted to managing director of client service. In her director and managing director roles, Hilary oversaw and participated in projects for a diverse client base serving the investment, manufacturing, nonprofit, and professional services industries.
Instrumental in Kaiser Consulting's growth and success, especially in our Outsourced Accounting service line, Hilary has played a pivotal role in our business development, talent acquisition and retention, and internal training activities. Passionate about supporting Kaiser Consulting's employees and clients, in 2023, she transitioned to the newly created position of resource manager.
In this new role, Hilary brings her extensive experience to our firm's scheduling process to ensure each project is staffed so that Kaiser Consulting team members enjoy an ideal work-life balance and our clients receive the exceptional client service they have grown accustomed to receiving from our firm. She continues contributing her time and talent to our hiring process and helping with Outsourced Accounting training for our professionals.
She is well known for her enthusiasm and willingness to approach problems creatively. Hilary's strong interpersonal skills and work ethic make her a key contributor as she matches the proper accounting, finance, and IT audit consultants professionals with our clients—all of whom have unique problems requiring specialized solutions, which Kaiser Consulting is happy to provide.

What was your first job?
When I was 14, I began working at the Grandview Public Library, cleaning and reshelving record albums in the audio-visual department. It was the start of six more years working at libraries. To this day, even though technology makes it less of a necessity, I still love going to a library because I find it a very peaceful place to be.
Where is an exciting place you have visited or an incredible view you have seen?
My daughter and I hiked up the Upper Yosemite Falls trail in Yosemite National Park. It is 7.2 miles round trip and has a 3,175 ft elevation gain, but wow, what a view at the top!
What is one of your proudest accomplishments?
Parenting my three children has been the most joy-filled accomplishment of my life. There have been lots of challenges, happy times, and interesting times that I wouldn’t trade for anything in the world.
