Her expertise in accounting operations stems from various roles held throughout her career, including plant accountant, assistant controller, and controller. Coupled with her working knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, clients appreciate Kelly’s ability to offer practical and efficient business solutions, while incorporating effective internal controls.

Kelly’s proficiencies in accounting include month-end close responsibilities, financial statement preparation, account reconciliations, and financial analysis. She also has an in-depth understanding of purchasing, accounts payable, and fixed assets, and is adept at documenting business processes and workflows and making recommendations for process improvements.

With her knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, Kelly is skilled in performing internal controls assessments, testing internal controls, identifying deficiencies, and working with control owners to develop remediation strategies for ineffective controls.
