About Kendra

Combining her CPA credential with an MBA degree, Kendra is a resourceful and multiskilled business professional. During her 17+ years of experience, she has held management positions in public accounting and private industry, including with a Fortune 100 global healthcare company and Fortune 500 global power company.

Early in her career, Kendra built a strong foundation of accounting skills servicing her regional CPA firm clients. She is proficient in period-end closings, financial statement preparation and analysis, general ledger and fixed asset maintenance, account reconciliations, inventory reporting, and budgeting.

As an outsourced CFO/Controller, Kendra has provided accounting consulting services and managed projects to successful completion in various industries. In addition to recruiting, developing, and evaluating staff, she is adept at strategic planning, business development, client proposals, and project planning.

While holding financial analyst and accounting manager positions at several publicly traded companies, Kendra gained in-depth knowledge of cash flow statements, employee stock compensation plans, and Sarbanes-Oxley controls. She has experience performing accounting research, special projects, and all aspects of accounting and reporting for corporate consolidations.

Kendra is comfortable communicating with internal and external auditors, as well as executive leadership, and working with several financial software solutions, including SAP, Oracle and QuickBooks. Kendra’s technical and interpersonal skills make her an immediate asset on all client engagements.

Is there a great restaurant you have been to in Central Ohio?
Martini Modern Italian in Downtown Columbus has excellent food and a pleasant atmosphere. My husband and I had our first date there, so it’s a special place.

Do you have a favorite social network?
Yes, I use Pinterest quite frequently. I like finding and then trying new recipes, especially all the delicious desserts.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I love spending time with my husband and our children. We look forward to family nights at home playing games or going out with friends to enjoy all the exciting things to do in Columbus.
