About Megan

With 15+ years of accounting, risk management, and compliance experience and a master’s degree in accounting, Megan is an accomplished CPA with strong problem-solving, project management, and relationship-building skills. Her professional experience includes working at a Big Four firm, with Fortune 50 and Fortune 500 companies, and on numerous consulting projects. She is highly adept at quickly gathering, analyzing, and reporting data resulting in improved operational efficiencies and increased cost savings for her clients.

Beginning her career in public accounting as an external auditor with Deloitte and Touche (now Deloitte), Megan subsequently held leadership positions in real estate finance with a Fortune 500 publicly held international retailer where she applied her expertise in auditing, financial analysis, and team building.

As a senior internal auditor and senior financial analyst, Megan led the planning, execution and reporting of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and operational audits, conducted discussions with business leaders regarding audit procedures, control designs, operating effectiveness deficiencies and recommended solutions, and prepared key analytics to support management’s data-driven decision making. As an audit manager, she ensured the integrity of internal controls over critical business processes, successfully led a sizable software implementation, and oversaw an internal audit team responsible for identifying significant cost-saving measures.

Megan joined Kaiser Consulting in 2017 as an accounting consultant and has provided a wide range of accounting and compliance services to many of our larger company clients, including a Fortune 50 multinational healthcare services company, a Global 500 automotive manufacturer, and several publicly held global specialty retailers. Promoted to director of client service in 2023, she keenly utilizes her networking skills, in-depth knowledge, and business acumen to develop new and support existing client relationships while overseeing the successful execution of client projects.

With a deep understanding of internal and external audit functions, Megan capably assists clients with SOX control testing and regulatory compliance, pre-audit planning and ongoing project management, and internal control reviews and recommendations. She effectively leverages the capabilities of enterprise resource planning systems, business intelligence software, specialized databases, and report writers geared toward large-scale organizations. Megan is comfortable analyzing and updating accounting policies, implementing process improvements, and training staff on accounting processes and technical issues.
