Who is someone you admire or an interesting person you have met, and why?
Rachel Muha, founder of The Run the Race Club in Columbus, Ohio, is an interesting person and someone that I admire. Her story is one you won’t forget about, and her example of forgiveness and action through tireless service has inspired me since the first time I heard her speak.
Is there a favorite dish you make that people rave over?
Once a year at Easter, I make an Italian Easter Pizza (“Shadone”). The recipe is from my husband’s Grandma Flo. Our family uses three types of meat and four kinds of cheese. It is made like a pie with bread for the crust. Everyone loves it, so it does not last long, and then we wait another year for more!
Where is an interesting place you have visited or an incredible view you have seen?
Ashtabula County, Ohio, has 19 covered bridges. My husband and I visited all 19 on a motorcycle. My favorite view is from rounding a curve in the road to see the Smolen-Gulf Bridge, the longest in the US at 613 feet.
