On a Lighter Note

Have you visited an excellent museum, and is there a museum you would like to see?
I’ve been fortunate to visit multiple museums, and I recommend them all. The Getty in California, the Guggenheim in New York, Georgia O’Keefe in New Mexico, and any architectural creations by Frank Lloyd Wright are very worthwhile. I also enjoy our Columbus Museum of Art and its terrific rotating exhibits. I would love to spend a week in Washington D.C., visiting the many museums.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I’m an avid reader and like listening to audiobooks – especially on road trips with my husband, which we do a lot because we love to travel and adventure together. I’m also a bit of a sky-gazer and will go far and away for the opportunity to see the stars. I’ll never forget seeing the Milky Way while in Colorado at a 10,000-foot elevation because it shone like diamonds. More than anything, I enjoy spending time with my family and cherish being with my husband, daughters and their loved ones, and grandchildren.

Do you have a favorite book, movie, tv-show, or music group?
I love music, especially outdoor concerts, but I don’t have a favorite group or even genre. I’ve had fun attending Summerfest, the annual music festival in downtown Milwaukee. I also enjoy watching live theater. Performances of Shakespeare in New York City’s Central Park and several “classics” at the American Players Theater in Wisconsin were particularly memorable.
