About Sarah
An accomplished accounting and finance professional with more than ten years of experience, Sarah is well-versed in the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements in complex, multi-entity organizations. She has particular expertise in enterprise consolidations, SEC reporting, and international accounts receivable, as well as familiarity with IFRS standards within the retail industry.
Sarah has had a consistently progressive career with a major retail firm, and she has significant experience in audit, compliance, and internal control testing and maintenance, including SOX, as well as a history of successful ERP implementation. On a Lighter Note
Have you ever participated in a physically or mentally challenging activity?
In college, I participated as a dancer in BGSU’s Dance Marathon, a fundraiser for the Children’s Miracle Network. During this 24-hour event, dancers are on their feet the entire time. In addition to dancing, there are plenty of activities to stay inspired, including visits from children who have benefited from the Children’s Miracle Network.
Where is an exciting place you have visited or an incredible view you have seen?
The Nā Pali Coast in Kauai, Hawaii, is the most incredible view I’ve ever seen. We went on a boat tour of the coast and saw a pod of dolphins near our boat. It was an experience I will never forget!
What was your first job?
My first job was working in concessions at a minor league baseball stadium in Canton, Ohio.
