About Jill

An accomplished CPA with a master’s degree in accounting, Jill is a full-cycle problem solver with 20+ years of proven experience performing root cause analysis, implementing change management, and obtaining end-user cooperation to facilitate successful project outcomes. She is well-regarded by executive leaders as a trusted business advisor highly capable of helping them overcome mission-critical challenges impacting their organization’s viability.

Jill utilizes expertise acquired from serving clients in public accounting, private industry, and the nonprofit sector to adeptly develop and execute business strategies, process improvements, and corporate governance standards. Previously an auditor with Big Five firm Arthur Andersen, her subsequent positions include lead internal auditor, controller, and senior government accounting specialist.

Joining Kaiser Consulting in 2018 as an accounting consultant, Jill is highly capable of servicing a multitude of clients in various industries; given her passion, she primarily serves our firm’s outsourced accounting clients in the nonprofit and government sectors. Jill was promoted to director of client service in 2022. She uses her collaborative nature and strong technical skills to develop new and maintain existing client relationships while overseeing the successful completion of client projects as director of client service.

She has a solid background in internal and external financial statement reporting, footnote preparation, general ledger maintenance, cost accounting, cash management, forecasting and budgeting, fund accounting, and grant reporting. Maximizing her knowledge of numerous financial software solutions, Jill is proficient in performing financial analysis and developing financial analytic models for senior-level decision-making purposes.

Jill has extensive experience researching, interpreting, and complying with financial and government regulations, as well as creating and implementing consistent practices, internal controls, and fraud assessments. She is a Subject Matter Expert in federal cost-accounting principles, generally accepted accounting principles, COSO internal control framework, and federal reporting filings.

Effectively using her strong interpersonal skills, Jill is at-ease negotiating contracts, managing accounting and audit teams, leading training sessions, and fostering collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and governmental agencies. Clients value Jill’s initiative and knowledge as she develops and executes action plans to improve their organization’s operations.

Our family tries our best to be eco-friendly. We have solar panels on our house, bring our reusable straws and bags when we go out, and try to reduce our plastic use whenever we can.

Where is an incredible place you enjoyed visiting?
During part of my career, I traveled internationally. South Korea will always stand out for its beauty and culture.

Do you and your family have a favorite fun activity?
Yes, living within walking distance of the Old Worthington Historic District, we have a great time going downtown to enjoy the restaurants, shops, parks, farmers market, and the community environment.
