About Jim

With over 25 years of accounting experience, Jim is a highly qualified and well-respected CPA professional. In addition to his accounting and auditing background, Jim’s expansive computer skills and knowledge of IT software applications make him an invaluable member of the Kaiser Consulting team. With his blended skillset, Jim provides support on a variety of projects, from system implementations and database projects to Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and internal control assessments.

Jim’s extensive financial analysis background, along with his comprehensive accounting knowledge, has proven valuable in performing cash-flow analyses, financial modeling, and pro forma ad-hoc analyses. His accounting background consists of substantial experience in the areas of management accounting, including cost accounting, standard cost analysis, costing bills of material, and inventory control. He is also adept at performing general accounting responsibilities such as month-end and year-end closing tasks, consolidations, and complex account reconciliations.

Jim’s IT proficiencies include a comprehensive working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including VBA for Excel, Microsoft Access, Monarch, Oracle Discoverer, Khalix Administration, and FRx report writing. He is also highly skilled in SAP and has served as a system administrator for Blackline and implementer of Blackline Variance. He has superior proficiencies in databases and queries and developing spreadsheets/databases as well as End-User Computing (EUC) solutions. For several clients, Jim has created solutions to extract and massage data into critical information used by executives and other decision-makers to make crucial and fundamental business decisions.
