Michelle is a seasoned CPA registered in the state of Ohio with experience in public accounting and private industry. With over 25 years of experience, Michelle’s background includes positions at Arthur Andersen and Liebert Corporation. In her tenure at Kaiser Consulting, Michelle, as a project manager, worked primarily on audit, accounting, and process improvement projects.
Michelle now focuses on her roles as shareholder and controller at Kaiser Consulting, where she is a member of the management team and oversees the accounting and finance functions of the firm. Working closely with other areas of operations she helps to make sure internal processes run efficiently. Michelle has also been instrumental in firm initiatives, including the implementation of the firm's practice management system, creation, and development of the Kaiser Cares philanthropy program and she leads the Kaiser Consulting Technical Accounting Group.
Nonprofit work and philanthropy are important to Michelle and over the years she has participated extensively in community organizations in officer, chairperson, and board member roles.
Michelle is known for her willingness to tackle new projects and delve into research. She has demonstrated a drive to exceed the job description since she joined Kaiser Consulting in 2005.

What was your first job?
My first job was working in the Harbormaster’s office at Hickam Harbor in Honolulu, Hawaii.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I love to travel and have visited 25 countries on four continents. I also love to ride my bike, but only on bike trails! And I’ve been working on achieving a par golf game for many years, and I’m nowhere close.
What is one of the best pieces of advice you have received?
“You can’t control other people’s actions, but you can control your reaction to them.” This advice comes in very handy as the mother of three sons!
